OUR MISSION

At Healing for Codependency, our mission is to offer you a safe, calming space where you can show up as your authentic self.

We do this by creating a judgment-free atmosphere where we walk alongside you on your healing journey to achieve the change you want to see in your life.

We invite you to partner with us in prioritizing you.

Counseling with us is…

  • First and foremost, we are here to listen, support, and accept you as you are. We seek to understand what you’ve been through and what you’re going through. From there, we can help you find meaningful change.

  • Like getting an outfit tailored specific to you, we tailor counseling for your specific needs, goals, and lifestyle. Our training in a variety of counseling approaches allows us to help you achieve real results.

  • We take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. All types of communication with you, including notes, calls, and interactions are 100% confidential.

  • You are the expert in you. We join forces with you and use our knowledge and expertise to create a plan in counseling that will work for you.

  • To us, effective means doing what works and getting results. Sometimes in counseling that means providing evidence-based treatment. Other times, based on your unique needs and preferences, we combine multiple methods so you can achieve long-lasting change.

We’re a team of Orange County counselors committed to helping you shift from surviving to thriving.

Why Healing for Codependency?

Our original founder, Leya, was inspired to name our practice Healing for Codependency after spending years treating people living with addiction and watching their stressed-out spouses and family members get lost in the treatment scene. Codependency is a hidden issue that is rarely talked about in families, as many folks keep their thoughts and feelings about it to themselves. If no one’s talking about it, they’re probably not getting help for it. It’s time we offer healing for codependency and all issues stemming from it.

Codependency is a pattern of behaviors related to over-caring for others. Essentially, you lose yourself in taking care of other people, which can spin your own life out of control. But losing yourself can look like a lot of things – staying in a harmful relationship, mis-using alcohol or drugs, or not knowing how to manage yourself or your life. That is why we have expanded our specialties to include trauma and substance abuse.

Our practice ultimately focuses on helping you get back in control of you and your life.

Helping you find yourself, trust yourself, and heal yourself.
